Improve your images and talk to your books

OK, so after referencing a few long blog posts, we’ll just share two cool AI applications today.

First, a new Thing to Play With: If you're like me, you've probably made fun of the fact that in CSI: Miami they could zoom in endlessly on bad-quality images, type in a few clever-looking commands and - voila - there's a perfectly clear image. Even though it was completely unrealistic at the time, AI does seem to make it possible now. Check out https://www.upscale.media to upscale your images, it really works!

Second, a cool LLM application: Aaron Ng shows a prototype of the idea of "embedding" books in GPT-3. The way he does it, he can actually have a real conversation with the book. Oh, how I would have loved to have had that as a student!
